The 1961 Shasta Airflyte canned ham trailer is back! In a limited edition run, that is. To mark its 75th anniversary, Shasta RV produced only 1,941 copies of the company's iconic 1961 Shasta Airflyte travel trailer. shasta AIRFLYTE "RE-ISSUE" INFO Kept as close to, and based on, the original specifications Shasta is introduced a limited Edition rebuild of the 1961 Airflyte. This new re-issue is built to the current RVIA codes and utilizes modern air conditioner, microwave, stereo with blue-tooth, furnace, and wet bath, but many other individual components are exact fits. The wings, windows, drip caps, magazine rack, metal countertop edging, dinette table leg, Chevron style door pulls, chrome exterior emblem and many other components are all interchangeable with original equipment. The 16 foot floor plan will be in the 2000lb. range and easily towed by mini-vans, full size cars, or the classic or convertible of your choice. Featuring a 78?x54? full bed in the front and gaucho in the rear, the 16 foot will comfortably sleep three to four campers. Exterior Red colors, painted to look just like the original: colors Shasta began building travel trailers in 1941. For 2015, Shasta created a nearly exact replica of it's iconic 1961 Shasta Airflyte 16SC Travel Trailer complete with the legendary Shasta wings! This re-release has been scheduled for a limited construction of 1,941 trailers and will be available in all three original colors; Red, Teal, and Yellow. Shasta has paid close attention to duplicate every small detail down to the original Shasta logo magazine rack. This Shasta Airflyte also feature an all-in-one bathroom with a toilet and shower in place of the closet to meet the desires of today's campers.
