Serial # 10208 35'long 8' wide ENGINE is a 1984 Cummins LTA-10 with Jake brake, approx. 48,500 original miles. Fuel additive/stabilizer has been used in fuel system, after 5-10 years, engine started right up!!!! This same fuel is used by Kubota generator, which has not been started in that time. TRANSMISSION is a MANUAL Fuller Road Ranger non-synchronized 5speed (5th is overdrive), with new close ratio gears. Has new clutch, new U-Joints, like-new drive shaft, new ring and pinion in heavy duty rear-end GENERATOR is a Kubota 8 W Diesel/charger FURNACE is a Wabasto (AquaHot) 50,000 BTU, Diesel/110V/220V, also water heater and engine preheat. Has not been used in 5-10 years A/C 2 chassis mounted, have not been used in 15 years Has Trace 2500W inverter Professionally converted in 91/92, driven approx. 16,800 miles since conversion. Has been mostly sitting and lived in since 96 in Calif. This bus is not stock. We were told by seller that all stainless skins had been replaced. Two stock windows were shortened width wise in rear of coach bedroom area at conversion. One stock window was cut down for bathroom mid-coach. Lower level is living room with couch (needs repair/replace), passenger chair is swivel/recliner, other chair is swivel wall-hugger recliner with fold-down table between. Upper level has dinette on right, kitchen on left. Interior wood is white-washed oak, off-white laminate cabinet door and drawer fronts. 110V refrigerator, two burner propane stove (unused since problem with propane), micro/convection oven. This bus has been lived in, but NOT cared for, needs lots of TLC The remaining skylight directly behind eyebrows is cracked and needs replacing. There is some rust but nothing that can't be fixed. This used to be a public transit bus (model TDH-3714). This model is known as the "Rosa Parks bus" because it is the model she made her famous stand on. Approx. 40' long. Most of the original seats are gone except the driver seat and two front bench seats that are parallel with the side walls of the bus. Still has gleaming chrome hand rails running front-to-back along the ceiling. Bamboo floor all the way to the King-size bed frame in back (mattress not incl). This baby is ready to roll! It has a new fuel pump and a rebuilt starter. It has a 4-71 series Detroit diesel engine and a two-speed hydrolic transmission, the brakes work great, the tires are ok. Two folding doors, a large loading door on the driver side mid-way back, plus the back door. Windows can be opened for ventilation. Great for a live-in or a classic restoration.
