Manufacturer: Kawasaki Model. 1980 KZ1300 KZT30B-000147 CONDITION. PREOWNED You are bidding on a Classic Rare KZ1300 B Series with a very low production number! It has less than 18,000 original miles. In 1980 the starting frame number: KZT30A-000001. This bike's frame number is KZT30A-000147! The previous owner of this bike bought the bike on 07/01/1983, rattle can painted it and rode it for years, before retiring from all riding due to a personal reason. He did not garage or cover the bike as he left it parked in his back yard for several years. The weather leeched through the chrome on the exhaust. The metal feels real solid, but will need to be coated or re-chromed. There is no instrument cluster, master brake cylinder covers or gas tank cap, because I removed them over a decade ago to use on another KZ1300. Other than that, this bike is complete. This is the OEM Kawasaki Touring package, not the Vetter aftermarket add-on. I bought this bike 12 years ago and have kept it in dry indoor storage since then. At that time the cylinder compression was good and the motor did not leak a drop. While this bike does not run right now, the cases are still dry. Since it's almost 100% complete as is, it wouldn't take much to put this bike back on the road as a rat touring bike or striped down naked runner. This is a solid platform and would be an ideal winter restoration project bike or parts bike. Take a close look at these photos. Structurally, she's a solid with clean lines.
